Good Day Everyone-
So sorry that there has not been many "posts" as of late. No excuses, just will try to update you on the life of Adam and Rheanna.
My last post was about Rheanna coming home for her 2 week R&R. It was a great reunion for all of them and went by way too quickly. They were able to get away for a week to San Diego for some time together and fun in the sun. Ryann Faith was very excited see her mommy and bonded right away to her. The first night home Rheanna had a tea party with Ryann in her room at 3 a.m. (how happy was Rheanna to be with her???) We were able to spend a couple days with her, her dad Larry was here to visit and Kris and Steve spent some time with her. So she had a wonderful time and no words probably could describe her emotions about having to go back. They have a really positive attitude and can see the end in sight. Unofficially it looks like Rheanna will be able to be home early in July so that makes everyone happy. Rheanna says as people leave camp it always makes her smile to see her name move up the list.
Rheanna will report to her new job in D.C. August 15th. They have their house rented to a JAG and his family, who is coming home from a deployment, so that is a relief..at least one less thing to worry about...so they just need to move, find a place to live, line up day care for Ryann, and find a yard or park for Moose. No problem, right?
I know Rheanna would love hearing from you as her time draws near...as you know it helps to make the time go faster when you know people are thinking of you.

EXCITING NEWS!!!
As I write this Rheanna is one her way home for her R&R!!!! You can only imagine how excited Adam, Rheanna, Ryann and Moose are! She will has left her base and will arrive in Colorado Springs Saturday evening. Oh, to be a fly on the wall when she sees her family.
It has been busy for Rheanna which has been good as that made the time to come home go very fast. She was in charge of showing the 3 Star General who is over of all of the JAG's . She was visiting all of the bases and she must have been impressed with Cpt. Rheanna as she offered her a number of times a ride back home on her jet, but the timing would of not worked out. Adam has the 2 weeks also for Spring Break, which will be nice to have the time off together. But it was a very nice gesture on the Generals part.
New news for them is that is for sure now that when Rheanna returns from Afghanistan in July she will be transferred to Washington D.C. to be a special victims prosecutor. Adam will retain his job here in Colorado Springs flying back and forth every other week. To say the least it will be busy, busy, busy but what fun!
Ryann Faith had her first illness so everyone is a little wore out. Bad cough, cold and ear infection. She is on the mend, taking her medicine like a big girl and just need her 100% by Saturday night.
She also turned 1 on February 21st. She shared her ice cream cake with her dad.
Rheanna sent a few pics that I will share. The one with the young girls is very special to me. A high school friend of mine has a daughter that teaches elementary school in ND. Her class wrote letters and sent gifts to the kids in Kabul that Rheanna encounters. It was a great experience and I cannot thank Judy and her daughter Dakota enough.
If you open your windows around 7 pm Sat. nite I am sure you will hear Rheanna screaming....keep your fingers crossed that all goes as plans. I will update the blog when she is home.

February post from Rheanna
Hi-We received this info from Rhe today so wanted to make sure we got it out. Snowing, snowing, snowing here..Ryann is a little shocked as we just spent 70 degree weather in Arizona for 2 weeks...she loved being outside and having lunch by the pool. Thanks everyone for their support of Rheanna, as Adam so appreciates it. I heard him telling Ryann tonite, "only 45 days until Mama comes home, that will be soon." I am sorry for those of you that have had trouble leaving comments, some people can and some can't...my techno skills go only so far. Have a great week and keep Ryann and Rheanna in your thoughts and prayers. Georgia
Hello Everyone! I'm settled into my new base. It is nice because there are alot more Captains (people my rank) in my office. It makes for a more laid back feel. On the flip side, I am working for USFOR-A headquarters, so there are alot of very important high ranking people on my very small post.

I am practicing alot of different types of law, still some military justice but also fiscal law. Anyone who knows me from law school, knows that contract law usually frightens the heck out of me. However, I am learning alot and I think it is a great opportunity to deal with some interesting contracts.
Also, the food here is a little better and some of my cross-fit peers moved over here too and we are doing cross-fit here.
I am so thankful for everyone's thoughts, prayers, packages, letters, emails, etc over the holidays! Everyone's kindness truly got me through the toughest part of this deployment (well, I hope the toughest!) I am counting down the minutes until I come home for R&R and get to hold Ryann. I'm so proud of how big she is getting and am amazed of all the things that Craig, Georgia, and Adam have taught her to do, especially her latest trick of sign language.
I am also beaming with pride as to how cute my new nephew Luke is! I can't wait to meet him!
I haven't taken any pictures at my new base yet, but attached are a couple pics around Christmas time. The first one is me in my room with my fake tree and presents that my family sent. My mom still managed to bring the magic of Christmas to me while I was in Afghanistan. The other pictures is with my Mongolian students. They do not celebrate Christmas in their country, as they are mostly Buhddists. However, they loved the commercialized parts of Christmas and threw us a Christmas party. They even learned jingle bells and sang it to us!
Thanks again for your love and support! Thanks always to Georgia and Craig for everything they do for Adam, Ryann, Moose and I on a daily basis.
Love,
Rheanna

New address for Rheanna
Just wanted everyone to know that Rheanna arrived at her new base last week in Kabul. She is now stationed at New Kabul Compound in the center of the city. She has 2 other roommates and there are other Captains in her office so the best news is she probably will not have to be doing the driving…big relief for Kris and I..lol! She says the food is much better and she really likes the new camp. She was worried about the change but it sounds like all is good. She has 2 roommates and no report that either of them snore yet! She will send me info for the blog when she gets more settled. Her new address is:
CPT Rheanna Felton
ATTN: SJA
USFOR-A/NKC
APO AE 09354-9998
Thanks again for everyone's kindness with letter, emails and packages…she really appreciates it. Her R&R time has not changed so she will be back home in Colorado Springs with Adam and Ryann from about the 22nd of March until April 5th. They are all so excited for her leave so that they can be back together as a family. We wonder if Rheanna will even want to be away from Ryann, Adam,Moose and her house for a second when she is home. She has hardly lived in her house so she will have fun being there.
The other very exciting news that Rheanna has is that her and Adam welcomed a new nephew Luke Cashel Felton, Scott and Kaelee's new baby…and Lane's little brother. He was born Jan 12 at a whopping 9 lbs…very cute little guy and Rhe is so excited for all of them…Congrats to the Feltons!
Craig and I are in Arizona with Ryann Faith for 2 weeks…she is loving the 70 degree weather and watching the ducks in our pond out back and the golfers….wish this kid got air miles for all the times she has flown. She is 11 months old today..getting lots of teeth, standing up to everything..climbing stairs, babbling, not any real words yet(maybe Georgia needs to stay quiet) and did her first sign language yesterday..milk! Adam is coming this weekend for a 3 day get away!
Will send more news as I hear from Rheanna…and now of course for the pictures! Georgia

Happy New Year!
Greetings everyone! I am shocked how long it has been since my last post…some people who will not be identified have been relieved that it has been some time since I last did report in..but I know those of you that appreciate my updates are glad to see this….haha…no problem here with getting a little criticism!
We know the holidays were tough on Rheanna to go through but we also know that will make every holiday from here on out that much more special. Thank you to all of you that sent cards, email, special messages, packages, and to all of you that had school kids write letters and send goodies it was so appreciated. I know you will hear from Rheanna as she was so excited to receive it all. Being so far away from home is tough but then to have people make an effort really means so much.
Rheanna's news is kind of stuck right now…she was suppose to be moving from the camp she is in to a new base but all of those plans fell through. We really do not know the whole story and Rheanna is not able to share a whole lot at this time. We do know that she shipped all of her belongings to the new base right before she learned that she was not moving. Details on what is to happen next are few and far between. She was very disappointed and is waiting for so much news, like what is next, where they will be moving to after this deployment, guarantees of the dates for her RR, and when she will be moving to the next camp as her camp closes. So please continue the emails, letters and notes to her as she looks forward to some consistency in her life. She misses Adam and Ryann Faith so much and looks forward to her RR.
The Lenzmeier's were all together in McCall Idaho for Ryann's first Christmas. It was so much fun but
far from perfect without Rheanna. The house was hopping with 7 adults, baby Ryann and 2 dogs! The snow was beautiful and Ryann was able to do lots of hiking with her dad and Moose.
Happy New Year to all of you and as soon as Rheanna has news to share I will put out a post. Continue please your prayers and positive thoughts!
